Roadmap

What comes after Lightbeam: Guess, a prediction market, then live markets on streams.

Lightbeam is the first product on one order book. The next two are built on the same contracts, so they get the same things: everything on chain, no trading server, and trades that settle on MegaETH in milliseconds.

  1. Now: Lightbeam. The order book exchange these docs describe: swaps, limit and stop orders, auto-flip liquidity, token launches and the daily LEAF rewards.

  2. Next: Guess, a prediction market. Trade on the outcome of real-world events, using the markets people already follow on Polymarket.

    • Any Polymarket market. Anyone can open a Polymarket market on Guess, and it trades and settles from its link. The home page shows a picked selection.
    • Results straight from Polymarket. When Polymarket settles a market on Polygon, the result travels to MegaETH through the chains' own bridges, via Ethereum. There is no Lightbeam oracle, no voters and no server to trust.
    • The same order book. YES and NO shares trade on Lightbeam's book, with limit orders and the same liquidity tools. Trading stops when the event starts, and winning shares pay out once the result lands. If Polymarket voids a market, or no result ever arrives, each share pays 50¢.
  3. Later: live markets on streams. Markets that open and settle while you watch your favourite gaming streamers, traded on the same book in real time.
